The Wallace House at Mitchell Community College, Statesville, NC. 9/07 This outdoor installation was the result of an exercise I did with my art appreciation class. I gave them three basic parameters. I told them that we had to work with the clapboard as our primary material, that we had the front of the art building as our location, and that had only the class period (50 minutes) to realize our project. I had a basic approach for the composition and construction of the installation already planned. We achieved our goal and the piece stayed up for one month. |
