My work focuses on creating order out of unused and discarded post-consumer materials and spaces. I find myself following the many paths that wind and water patterns follow as they pass through a space. It is analogous to the paths that power takes in both the micro and macrocosms. I often like to use my work to follow these paths, emulating them while addressing social and/or political problems that we face, be it planned obscolescence, profits made during times of war, the ramifications of mass consumption, etc.
